ACTRC consists of three core research groups (12 core professors from GNU, UNIST, KAIST, and SNU; 11 domestic partner companies; 13 foreign partner institutions).
The group I will develop the technology of new concept repair, ultra-precision laser damage detection, and inter-laminar damage prevention in composite materials.
The group II will focus on multi-physics integrated analysis technique, design of ice protection system embedded in composite structure, and optimal design of safety-related core system.
The group III will develop the technology of countermeasures against the upset situation of aircraft due to structural damage and icing, and safety-critical flight control.
